The hunger games was one of the most amazing books i have ever read. And i've read A LOT of books, im tellin ya.
The book made me cry it made me smile and it made me laugh. I grew to love peeta and katniss and i can not WAITTTT to see the movie! thoughts?
yeah! hunger games are the best! are you for petta or gale? its too bad finick had to die, specially after he married and was about to have a kid.
ReplyDeleteI think that the movie will be ok but to my opinion it will probably be rated PG-13 or R. so if they make it like the book because it gets a little steamy and there is alot of fighting scenes but i dont care i like either way.

ReplyDeleteI am completely and toally torn between the two!! Peeta's love makes me jealous of Katniss because he really does like her, but then at the same time i want her to go with gale because i know what its like for someone you really like to chose someone else over you.

It will be interesting to see what the rating is. On one hand, they should take into consideration that a lot of kids under 18 are going to want to have the opportunity to watch this, but on the other hand, how are they going to handle all of the violence without making it R rating material? There is a whole lotta killing going on in those books.

ReplyDeleteGale made weapons to hunt animals because his family and Katniss' family were going hungry due to the dire poverty citizens in the mining district faced. This opens up an interesting moral discussion! He killed for a purpose-survival, which is an interesting theme that runs throughout the book. Still sticking with your opinion Freshman? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I'm still torn between the two. Because yes Gale protected her his whole life but do you honestly think if Peeta tried to do the same that gale would even allow that??? and plus Peeta was trying to protect her.

NO its something different at the 3rd book peeta and this dude build weapons like this one when they drop silver chests with parachutes and some of them explode and of course kills a few people put the remaining ones are set at a time delay and explodes that's what happened to katniss sister named prim who was part of a medical team when they tried to provide treatment to wounded children that's when the bombs were dropped and unfortunately she was killed in the second explosion.
ReplyDeleteno no no freshman we don't know if gale even made those bombs. even so gale dint drop them! if it wasn't the "president" it was probably that district 13 chick. plus like i said look at all the stuff he did for katniss, after all that you cant just let him fade away wether you chose peeta or not

ReplyDeletefreshman you kinda blew the ending but oh well. My friends at church are thinking that we should all go together to the movie a week or two after the opening night so we can get the seats quick cheap and easy. How many of you are going opening night around march 2012?
